| Official pictures of the 370Z have been released. Looks much like the concept: ugly. "After teasing us with concealed previews in the spring, Nissan finally unveils interior and exterior imagery of their upcoming 370Z. Taking a more retro approach, the car sports a shorter frame than its predecessor alongside a new roof line with similarities to the Datsun Fairlady/240Z. Showcasing a lighter, shorter and wider frame allows the reported 330hp 3.7 liter V6 engine to certainly gain some aerodynamic boost. A release is expected in early 2009 with the car making its first public appearance on November 19th at the Los Angeles Auto Show." Discuss. | |

| ^ agreed, the interior isn't that bad
but the shape of the car, and the shape that they made the tails/headlights are just wtf. and what's with the fangs on the front grille ==
I understand it increases airflow but i'd rather have a little less airflow if it means my car needs to have fangs | |

| We've got some numbers to go with the shots Nissan recently provided of the 2009 370Z, set to debut at the Los Angels Auto Show later this month. According to the LA Auto Show's website, the redesigned Z's new DOHC 3.7 liter V6 boosts power by 26 horses over the outgoing model, to 332. A Variable Valve Event and Lift Control is part of the new drivetrain, as is a choice of seven-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmissions. The 370Z's new manual transmission also features synchronized downshift rev matching programming.
Public days for the Los Angeles Auto Show start November 21.
