So I got into an accident today - 5pm/August 17th, 2008

No pictures at the moment, because they towed my car away.

I was going straight through the light at guildford/ioco going eastbound, and some car made it's left turn without looking thereby smashing into my car.

My whole carbon hood got cracked in half, the bumper is fucked, and the car was basically front-end totalled. It's not going to be a write-off, but if it is at least I'll get to buy my s2k.

I'm still waiting on ICBC and police to check things out but for now they've towed the car to coquitlam towing...

I'm sad poor bluefi...

Pics will follow when I go to see the car the next day, and no, the RGII's were not harmed, at least, not that I could tell. The engine was still running after I got hit as well.

i can't count how many times i've saved myself from retarded left turners. i literally came within 3 inches (i watched my door barely pass by their front bumper) as i was going straight along westminster hwy passing no.4 road. it was also raining so i understeered and traction kicked in at the last moment and saved my life. i ended up on a 45 degree slant and looked behind me, the rav4 driver didn't even bother to check if i was ok. really wanted to pull a 180 and tail them but i was on my way to work at honda...

no one seems to check CAREFULLY before they take left turns. even people in large SUV's who can clearly see your car from afar still only half-check when turning.

salvage what you can! your dec will probably be in the $3000-$4000 range which means resale value of your car will suck.

yea there is this one time the same happened to me, this stupid mazada 3 almost t boned me LOL, didnt see wt kinda person driving tho LOL, ended up saving myself and AC by going faster LMFAO

^Luckily, we don't have a "turn at any time with care" law in Aus. If there is a light, we must wait for it unless otherwise stated.
I had a similar situation happen to me the other day. Some faggot in a celica turned onto the main road at the last minute when he had a give way sign and I was going straight. He then proceeded to shout abuse at me for beeping him.
I never got the chance to pull up next to him otherwise I was going to cut sick with the "you are driving a 'sports car' that runs the same chassis as a Camry with the shitter engine, Fuck off"

I can recall coming within inches of getting t-boned SO many times this summer, the funny thing is they usually arent C-Lais like I'd expect. Its usually people around my age group.
