Kary Ng skyrocketed to success in 2007, winning the associated award for Best Album of the Year from Hong Kong's four major broadcasting corporations for In Control. She also won the hearts of live audiences with her accompanying Lady K Live 2008 concert launched in early 2008.

Ever stylish and attractive, Kary now unveils her third major album. Lady K: Transformations features eleven tracks led by the mellow mid-tempo song "Breaking Up Requires Ruthlessness" (Track 5), which appeared as the end title theme for the film L For Love, L For Lies. Another song bound to attract Kary's fans is "Last Second" (Track 2), composed and written respectively by Jerry and Jan, Kary's Ping Pung bandmates. Additional highlights are the album's feature track Lady K and the ballad "It's Best Not To Love" (Track 6), on which Kary collaborated with female composer, arranger, and producer Dennie Wong.
