09 Honda Civic Facelift

Exterior styling receives some extremely subtle changes which leaves the over conservative theme in tact. The front bumper has been redesigned to incorporate extra air intakes on the side areas, the headlights and tail-lights benefit from new color combinations that feature clear turn indicator lenses with amber bulbs. There are also new alloy wheels for the EX, Civic EX-L and Civic Si models whilst the Si model gets a set of fog lamps.

Moving on to the interior we find very little has changed other than a few minor equipment changes in the standard packages. The engine and transmission options have also been left untouched.

anyways i do agree with ya clem, i think the front bumper looks like a fusion of the jdm civic and jdm civic type r bumper lol

i circled out the parts i thought that looked alike, red to red, blue to blue etc.

but if u plan on doing ctr conversion csx s would be a good choice but thats another 7gs differnt than the si

since csx has the headlights and tail lights i guess it's easier to do the conversion, but the csx is slightly extended, so im guessing the side skirts have to be modified?

but if you're talking about a jdm fd2 type R conversion to a csx...

no, the skirts don't need extending (varies largely on the brand of the skirt)

i've seen a full type R FD2 conversion done to a honda CIVIC Si sedan






not bad at all, ALMOST a full conversion. he's just missing a red emblem in the back, a civic and type R emblem, jdm mirrors and a jdm trunk (without the keyhole)

the skirts will need extending for the Si, but not for the csx. they're almost exactly the same doorspan length

also, hard to believe that that ^ was an Si oh so long ago. What I don't get is, why not just take a csx and mod it like that instead of taking an Si? A lot of the things on the CSX can be left stock and they'll look exactly like it's JDM counterpart. waste of $
