Review: Posh (Kingsway Location)

I've never had a problem with posh, actually we even went to the Kingsway one last time with the exact same table. Two non-eaters, and two really big eaters.

Reviewed for Tuesday, August 20th, 2008, with party of 20.

As we walked in, we had reserved 3 tables for our use, and the big table (the most important of them all) was still taken up at 8:35 when we had reserved for 8:30. We waited till close to 8:50 for the table to get the fuck up, after paying their bill. The restaurant had simply overbooked, and I wasn't too happy about standing in the rain for that one. The door on the side of the building managed to slope INTO the restauarant, which led rain into the floor and almost made me PK more than once. The sight and smell is pretty new and fresh, so I can't blame anything there.

Finally we all managed to get our seat and order, it was pertty amazing, as we were the first of the two smaller tables to get any of our order, 40 Beef, and some misc veggies. The waiter came by, some short haired (blonde) guy with the most passive attitiude. He asked us what we would want to drink, and I replied "you guys have pop right? I'll take coke" and he replies "nope, we don't have any pop at this location tonight". Frowning at not having any pop, which they should be going to safeway and just buying some, I choose a specialty drink, some Lychee thing that was $5. Low and behold, they didn't have that either. So I ended up getting some Aloe drink which fucking sucked balls compared to the bottled ones that you would normally buy at TnT or whatever.

Later on, we look over at the bigger table, and some of them have pop!, it's DIET PEPSI. I don't even care, because it's refillable, but our waiter fucking lied to us. Then he was being a bitch the rest of the night. If it wasn't for Eric (who's first day was there) it would have been really shitty. When asked about the waiter, he said they were running out of pop, except we kept bitching, and managed to get 4 pops (running out my ass).

So in the end, we looked and there was the 15% gratiuity, which shouldn't be there because 1.) the service sucked my left nut, and 2.) it's not stated anywhere it would be charged for a large party (we even had 2 waiter/waitress).

overall, Posh Kingsway can suck my balls for the next period of time, till they get their liquor license (sept) or their act togther, i'm not going back. Broadway from now on, cuz Richmond sucks balls too.

i had posh several times now at richmond, was fine for me.......

well i think overall most restaurants need to work on their customer service skills........

guess most ppl treat their jobs as just a __dollar per hour job so they think... "i dun really give a fuck"

had the worst service the other day at this restaurant that was usually pretty nice.......

Richmond one is never quite the same, as it is their flagship store, and doesn't have the same layout anymore. I heard they changed to no all you can eat?

But Broadway has given us spectacular service, and I will be returning, fuck posh Kingsway.
