| Here are some oh-so common facts in my 10+ years of maintenance.
It doesn't matter if your'e using Honda OEM blades or $3 Wallmart special (they do the same fucking job, albeit wear out faster)
RainX, doesn't hurt your wipers, it should only help by reducing friction
DO NOT use your wipers for small drops if possible, as this is called "DRY WIPING" and could fuck your blade very fast
Small particle on your glass could potentially damage the wipers, as they pass over it. To avoid, clean off rainx, soap to the best of your ability, and claybar the glass too. If this doesn't remove it, your glass has imperfections, nothing really you can do short of replacing the glass.
After that, wash, wax, reguarly, you won't have a problem...just try to stay away from shit that oils it up, or that won't help in the rain.
oh, and if they're skipping at high speed, all wipers do that. If the skip even at low speeds, then your motor could also be fucked too... but that's rare.

| I don't know shit about wipers... But.. My wipers are so cool LOL
When I pull them up, they bend LOL! I guess it's to accommodate the shape of the windshield for better scraping.

| ^ yeah dude, all of the manufactureres use this design now. the reflex shape creates more pressure against the windshield for better wiping, reduced lift under high speeds, and better performance when wiping with a windshield covered in snow.
i read all the reviews for the reflex wipers on canadian tire's website lol... everyone seems to hate them for some odd reason. i had nothing but pure joy with those wipers.. .whats going on.

| The reflex is crap. The wiper design is sound, but it's the quality of the blade that sucks. OEM's like are nice, but expensive.... I need a new solution for my car as well... my $3 pylons are breaking! | |
