CLICK
You can get basically a couple of them. But not all is compatible with the EDFC. I'd say stick with the SS's for street use. The flex are good but will drive you insane for daily use. Unless you are tracking the car there isn't much need for the flex. you fail at reading comprehension XP i was talking about Megan Racing not having full kits for 96-00 civics...

Why I say no to teins is only becuz they get rusty pretty fast compared to other brands.....

| ^But the teins are also a manual adjustment? So you have just contradicted your previous point. Please stop talking to avoid further embarrassment.

So basically this post is just to post whore...AHHAHA
Ever tried Spoon coils? I had those on my Integra and they were great. Better than always sticking with the same ones, try new things in life! These things kills comfort on the street... jon doesn't track so there's no point of these... - minix3 wrote:

Please stop talking to avoid further embarrassment. to minix3, try to stop starting arguements on the forum anywhere else besides the fc... like it's pretty annoying to see posts like these sumtimes... the guy just wants suspensions for his goddamn Civic, so either give your suggestions or just stfu... jeez... like it's pretty pointless for you non-honda drivers telling honda drivers what to use anyways.. not trying to be an ass but that's just sumthing i would like to point out... so either give your suggestions or say out of it... -------------------------------------------------------------------------- aniwaise jon, i think you should just go for the T1Rs, the T1R's are great both street and also tracking. and in comparison from my own experience they're the best so far. T1R>Buddyclub>Tein dun even think about the spoon's... they're too rough on street... and besides you drive like a granny so yeah From my racing experiences against the Tien coil'ed dc2's they dun make it close to me thru truns. maybe it's just a honda thing honda x tein is bad... imo

| If you read my first posts in this thread rather than just the last one I was giving suggestions and even providing links and other information such as that flex is being discontinued and rather stiff, consider trying Bilsteins and stick with the SS. Just because I don't drive a Honda currently doesn't mean that I am clueless about what should be used. Also considering I use to drive around a DC2R, Accord Euro and an EK civic. | |

| HEY! i only drive like a granny cuz i don't trust what's left on my car. i still have quite a few things to repair and replace to make my car a more reliable machine to push.
but anyways, T1R's... i'll ask leslie about it.

| Yah T1Rs is also a good idea, See what I meant about Teins is that Because of their cute mascot, and their EDFC convenience system, Teins are over-rated.....or over hyped.... I'm sure they make decent Race ones, but their softer shit is really...... Shit....... And main point is they rust easily which is another reason why I dun really like em..... | |

Just because I don't drive a Honda currently doesn't mean that I am clueless about what should be used. Also considering I use to drive around a DC2R, Accord Euro and an EK civic. haha well I was reading and I do know what's going on in my forum, I never said u weren't giving out suggestions. just saying that's all you should be doing so either do it or stfu. that's all`` well, I believe your driving with the Honda cars weren't really taking it to my level of kinda driving... since u said drive around, I guess I'll take it that way. so yeah not trying be all this and that but yeah, I wouldn't really argue with me on technical information based on honda cars if i were u. I do work with them for many many years. besides this guy's my cousin, I can highly suggests equipment for him judging on this driving styles. - spoon.ek9 wrote:

- T1R B-Max 52 Damper - Honda Civic 96-00 (EK)
Comfort and Performance normally is not a combination you can find from most of the suspension available the market. T1R offers 46mm piston MONOTUBE design for super wide range dampening ranges for street and track. 36 way compression and rebound adjustable. Ride height and stroke adjustable for extreme lowering. CNC machined chromoly steel body with all CNC machined forged aluminum perches and adjust brackets. All kits come with adjustable wrenches and necessity hardware. Price: CAD $1,599.00 (USD $1,599.00) like i've previously stated these are by far the best I've used on my teg. none the less, the 1,600 looks over your budget. yet it can be fixed. if leslie can't get you a good deal just find me. alright? just go for these, you can't go wrong with them - Raid3n wrote:

what year is the EK9? (no idea about anything to do with civics lol) haha that's a good setup u have there. from my experience my favourite is still F16K R14K on the DC2

| yeah $1600 is way past my budget. i'm not willing to spend that kind of money right now anyways... and i swear these old ass teins are gonna blow soon-ish. the t1r's look nice though, i'll admit that haha. i still like the idea of matching tein ss and hood damper, you gotta admit thats hawt. | |

| chris' cf hood is super light weight and therefore, super flimsy. so when its propped up, the opposing side basically dangles and slowly will mishape the hood. solution? hood dampers! | |
